This unique loft building was built in 1989. The 26 suites were originally leased apartments, and are now of course, owner occupied loft condominiums. All have 2 bedrooms, a parking spot & 16ft ceilings in the living & dining rooms. Some of the units also have wood burning fire places & some have open terraces. This building seems to have been ahead of its time, since more recently, much of the neighbourhood has been unveiling more loft development, however not all have the feel of The Derby. Even the Toronto Police Department have moved in to the funky loft-like building next door.
