Paint the Town Red Port Credit 2012


On July 1, at 11am, our amazing Canada day Parade will fill the streets with joy and laughter. Marching bands, clowns and hilarity brings out our national pride and tickles our funny bones! Old cars, marching bands and music on every corner! It’s all about having fun!

The Mississauga Food Bank will also be taking part in the Canada Day celebrations. There will be  a float in the parade & a GIANT shopping cart! They will be collecting non-perishable donations as their float passes by! So come on out to celebrate Canada Day, and make a donation too!

This year’s Parade Grand Marshals: Mayor Hazel McCallion and football Hall of Famer Chuck Ealy! Don’t miss a chance to meet our incredible Mayor or to shake hands with football royalty.  Also, Miss Teen Canada International and Miss Teen Canada International Nikita Singh to will also join this year’s parade!

As night falls, music and dancing will fill Memorial Park. Starting at 6pm,  an incredible line-up of Tribute Artists will fill the night with enjoyment. A night of powerful entertainment leading right up to the fireworks.  The  firework’s display will surely take your breath away! Let’s all join and celebrate Paint the town red in Port Credit in Canada Day!
